return policy
exchanges will be accepted within 14 days of receipt for store credit only. customer is responsible for return shipping. all returned items MUST BE UNWORN AND UNDAMAGED
how can I use a discount code online?
to redeem special offers, customers must select the offer code box on the shopping cart page and then enter the offer code at checkout. after entering offer code, offer adjustment will be made to eligible orders at checkout. offers may require purchase from a specific collection and do not apply to shipping or taxes. offers are valid while supplies last. please see specific offer details for complete terms and conditions, including expiration date and other exceptions. all orders are subject to verification
what is an account credit?
when you return an item to Chel.C, we do not issue a direct refund, but rather we will send you, via email, a coupon code for the entire purchase amount. this code can be used towards your next purchase, or any purchase, with Chel.C and is similar to a “store credit” that you might receive from a store. visit Account Credit in your My Account tab on the navigational bar to check your available credits
how do I return an item?
please note that we DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS and you will receive a coupon credit, outlined previously. in order to make any returns or exchanges, please contact info@chelcnyc.com

will I be charged sales tax?
the sales tax charged is an 8% local tax for customers shipping within the state of Illinois only. you will be able to view the sales tax included in your order before you confirm your purchase
why do I need to register?
you only need to register on our site if you are making a purchase and want to manage your orders online. by registering you are initiating an account that only you may access. you may access your account by using your email address and a password that you have created. only you will have access to this information. if you are signed up on our email list, this does not mean you are registered
how do I register?
simply click on the 'Register' and you will be provided with a direct link that will walk you through the process. if you have never purchased from us before, you must register with us to place an order. if you already have items in your cart and are ready to complete your order, simply click on 'checkout', and this will automatically direct you to our register page

although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products. if we are out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via e-mail with an expected delivery date

for the moment, Chel.C only ships in the continental United States
how can I track my order?
you will receive an order confirmation once your order has been successfully transmitted. in addition, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent once your order has been shipped. you may check the status of your order at any time by visiting 'My Account' on the menu bar and checking the order status updates
how can I modify my order?
please be advised that once an order has been placed we are unable to make any modifications to the order including cancellations
